Login Troubleshooting

If you're having problems logging into Library services, please follow this troubleshooting guide before reporting it as an issue.

I'm not seeing the correct login form

Click the following link to reset your login and log in to your chosen service. You will be asked to confirm your logout and then automatically taken to the login page.

If this does not solve the problem, clear your browser's cookies and web page cache (how?) and try again.

Students and members of staff with a University network account should see a login page with the heading "CoSign" where you can enter your network login and password.

Library users who do not have a University network account should see a login page asking for your Library Card number and password.

I can't login to Athens-protected resources

Clear your browser's cookies and web page cache (how?), close and restart your browser, then login to OneSearch. Now try to access the Athens-protected resource again.

I get a blank page after logging in using VPN

Check your browser's proxy settings are configured correctly for the University network and try again. See the appropriate ISS guide for setting up your VPN connection and web browser.
